The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a warning to shoppers not to consume the eggs from six different brands due to the possible contamination with salmonella

Eggs are being recalled in some provinces, after the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) put out a notice saying some brands might be contaminated with salmonella. The recall from the agency includes cartons from various companies sold in Ontario, Manitoba, British Columbia and possibly other parts of Canada.

The Independent reports that the brands affected by the CFIA recall include Golden Valley, Compliments, Foremost, IGA, No Name, and Western Family eggs. Various packs and sizes of eggs have been affected, with a full list on the CFIA website.
