Commuter rail and Amtrak service in and out of Boston on Monday was delayed due to a fire on an overhead wire.
The collision happened around 7 p.m. at the Conant Street crossing gate at “a low rate of speed,” the Concord Fire Department said. The MBTA commuter rail train was headed west to Fitchburg.
