It imaged a total solar eclipse from the surface of the moon and also took pictures of the sunset. In a post on social media, Firefly Aerospace referred to the sunset picture as the lander's farewell.

A private lunar lander has captured the first high-definition sunset pictures from the moon. Firefly Aerospace and NASA released the stunning photos Tuesday, taken before the Blue Ghost lander fell silent over the weekend.
