The Miami Open is underway this week, bringing some of the biggest names in tennis to South Florida for one of the sport’s premier events.

By virtue of her win, Pegula, the No. 4 seed, will face No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka on Saturday, March 29 with the tournament title up for grabs in the Miami Gardens-located stadium that is the longtime home of the Miami Dolphins during NFL season.

Though Pegula has made three Miami Open semifinals in four years, she has never gotten this far. Now she goes for her fourth WTA 1000 (point) title.

Ranked No. 4 in the world, American Taylor Fritz will face Jakub Mensik in the semifinals of the Miami Open on Friday at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
