With Louisville down 12 with just under five minutes to go, Cardinals coach Pat Kelsey was called for a technical after he ventured on the court to argue with officials. As Kelsey's staff was trying to stop Kelsey from picking up another technical, someone threw a full water bottle from the stands in the direction of the Creighton bench.

During Thursday’s first-round March Madness game between Louisville and Creighton, tensions were high and one fan threw a full plastic water bottle onto the court.
