The major indexes weakened and were mixed Tuesday afternoon. Tesla stock picked up momentum Tuesday after two days of losses.

Stocks were lower in afternoon trading Monday, extending a three-day-losing streak, as investors await announcements on a new batch of tariffs the Trump administration has said it will implement this week.

NASDAQ has also managed to rebound from session lows, although the index remained in the negative territory. Tesla, which was down by 1.6%, was among the biggest losers in the NASDAQ index today.
