Cracker Barrel knocks Waffle House over surcharge, offers rewards for buying egg dishes
LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRC) - Cracker Barrel called out competitor Waffle House over its recently-implemented egg surcharge. Tennessee-based Cracker Barrel had some fightin' words for Georgia-based competitor Waffle House over the 24-hour diner's new .50 egg surcharge.
"Inspired by Cracker Barrel's Tennessee roots, this original and bold take on the classic Nashville hot sauce is a perfectly flavor-packed complement to your meal," the news release said.
