Phone apps ask permission to access your camera, mic, and location. You can go into your phone’s settings to grant or restrict these permissions. Did you know you can do the same for your PC or Mac?

I can’t believe I’m excited about a PC settings app, but here we are. Nvidia’s new software is an excellent much-needed upgrade.

To enable the Remote Desktop feature using the Settings app, use these steps: Open Settings. Click on System. Click on Remote Desktop. Turn on the "Enable Remote Desktop" toggle switch.

It’s actually to do with ‘Metro’ apps vs desktop. In Windows 8, the PC Settings app, which handled most of the lighter, more tablet-friendly settings, was a Metro app.
