Prosecutors are hoping that Ventura’s testimony will help convince the New York jury that Diddy, who is charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, is a sex trafficker who allegedly forced women to participate in hours-long sex parties.

Diddy has denied the allegations against him. As expected, cross-examination began with discussions of text and e-mail communications between Cassie and Diddy, with the defense asking about the nature of the earlier days of the two's relationship.
