The Washington Post is investigating a cyberattack that targeted journalists’ email accounts, raising concerns about media security and digital threats to sensitive information.

Hackers attempted to breach several email accounts belonging to journalists at The Washington Post, according to CNN.

It also cites unnamed sources saying that the Microsoft accounts targeted included reporters on the national security and economic policy beats including some who write about China.
