The Justice Department filed a motion on Friday to dissolve a restraining order preventing the Trump administration from blocking Medicaid funds for Planned Parenthood clinics as mandated by the GOP megabill signed into law last week.

Several Planned Parenthood locations posted notices alerting patients Medicaid coverage would no longer be accepted.

The warning affected a narrow, but densely populated area that included downtown Chicago. Flash flooding was seen from the downtown area through the West Side along the Eisenhower Expressway to Oak Park, as the slow-moving storm hovered stubbornly over the area.
