The Jets worked out two veteran quarterbacks following the announcement of backup QB Tyrod Taylor undergoing minor knee surgery.

New York Jets backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor will miss the remainder of the preseason after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery. The hope is that Taylor will be available for New York's regular-season opener against the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers .

Quarterback Tyrod Taylor is week-to-week with a knee injury. According to head coach Aaron Glenn, Taylor will be back for the regular season.
