Employees at the FAA were fired by the Trump administration, according to a workers union. "Each time I voted for you, it was because I knew you'd make things right and you'd fix the wrongs. I'm counting on you now to make this right too."

The decision clears a roadblock for the new administration as it attempts sweeping changes to downsize the federal government.

A federal judge on Thursday allowed President Trump's efforts to shrink the federal workforce to continue moving forward while legal proceedings continue, declining a request from a group of labor unions to temporarily block his firing of federal employees and other actions targeting government workers.
