LOS ANGELES (AP) — Shohei Ohtani is adding author to his list of accomplishments. The Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar has co-written a children’s book starring his beloved dog, Decoy.

Ohtani wrote the book with Michael Blank. Fanny Liem illustrates the story of Decoy's adventures as he races home to find his lucky baseball in hopes of making it back to the stad

The book is inspired by Ohtani's dog, Decoy, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch before a game at Dodgers Stadium in August of 2024.
