The Storm fell behind in the first half and never found their footing Saturday against the Golden State Valkyries in a costly Commissioner’s Cup loss.

Yueru, a 6-7 center from China, was traded from Los Angeles to Seattle in February and now joins the Wings. Dallas is sending a 2026 second-round pick, which includes the right to swap with the Connecticut Sun, and a 2027 third-round pick, which includes the right to swap with the Indiana Fever.

The Seattle Storm will travel to San Francisco to take on the Golden State Valkyries tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET. Fans can stream the game with a WNBA League Pass on Amazon Prime. A seven-day free trial is available for the pass and then the subscription is $12.99 per month.

Seattle took it to Minnesota on Wednesday, giving them their first loss of the 2025 WNBA season and maybe revealed a blueprint for the rest of the league.
