The PGA Tour's Genesis Scottish Open begins on Thursday in North Berwick, where the top players on tour will compete at the Renaissance Club.

Robert MacIntyre won the 2024 Gensis Scottish Open. The Scottish native finished 18 under par, beating second place by 1 stroke. MacIntyre returns to defend his homeland championship. He is currently ranked 14 on the Official World Golf Rankings.
In 2024, MacIntyre became the first Scot to win the Scottish Open since Colin Montgomery in 1999. MacIntyre won with a score of 18-under, one stroke ahead of Adam Scott.
