After a dominant debut season, Oregon’s Rylee McCoy has been named an NFCA Freshman of the Year finalist. The standout first baseman has powered the Ducks to a Big Ten title and NCAA Super Regional berth.

Oregon first baseman Rylee McCoy had to leave an elimination game against Stanford in the second inning after being hit in the face by a line drive. It’s unclear at this point whether she will be able to return.

McCoy was named the third NFCA Freshman of the Year finalist in program history joining Jenna Lilley (2015) and Maggie Balint (2017).
