A Polk County Sheriff's Office report says Supervisor Tom Hockensmith allegedly threatened to fight other supervisors over John Norris' firing.

On Friday calls were made to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office about a dispute at the Polk County Administration building. This comes days after swearing in two new members, electing a new board chair and placing a longtime county administrator on administrative leave.

Erasuro Mascorro Jr. approached a contractor Tuesday afternoon near the dead end of Third Street West in Wahneta. Mascorro threatened the contractor with a gun and attempted to carjack him, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Polk County Supervisor Tom Hockensmith threatened to fight other supervisors after Administrator John Norris was asked to resign last week, according to an incident report from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

The dispute allegedly broke out after the Polk County Board of Supervisors decided to terminate Polk County Administration John Norris from his position.
