The Nittany Lions have taken several of the conference's top teams down to the wire, but they're often on the wrong side of the final score.

Despite another strong effort against a quality opponent, Penn State men’s basketball suffered another tough loss on the road against Michigan on Monday evening in Ann Arbor. Penn State led Michigan 72-67 with just over two minutes remaining in the game before the Wolverines went on a clutch run to close out a 76-72 win in Big Ten play at the expense of the Nittany Lions.

The Wolverines suffered just their second loss in the Big Ten Friday when they were dominated by the Boilermakers, 91-64, in West Lafayette. The Nittany Lions are also looking to rebound following a 76-75 defeat at Iowa. Michigan’s record in their last ten games is 6-4 while Penn State’s record is 5-5 in their last 10 tilts.
