The Penn State Nittany Lions defeated the UConn Huskies in overtime in the NCAA Hockey Tournament's Allentown regional final, earning a trip to the Frozen Four in St. Louis.

Matt DiMarsico played hero for the Nittany Lions, getting the overtime golden goal for Penn State to punch the blue and white's ticket to the frozen four. It's the first-ever appearance for the program as one of the final four teams in the country.
