Two people suffered injuries from a shooting that took place in a parking lot at Old Dominion University Wednesday, according to Norfolk police.

NORFOLK, Va. (WWBT) - Two people are dead after a shooting at Old Dominion University Wednesday night, according to Norfolk Police. At around 9:40 p.m., NPD was called to the 1400 block of W. 49th Street on the ODU campus for a reported shooting.

A shelter-in-place was lifted late Wednesday night after a shooting near Old Dominion University in Virginia. Two people were shot around 9:50 p.m. in parking lot three on 49th Street near the Norfolk campus;
