The second season of Poker Face was celebrated Thursday at the Hollywood Legion Theater where Natasha Lyonne, the star, executive producer, writer, and director, took a time-out from the premiere party to talk to Gold Derby about her upcoming movie,

Uncanny Valley, as the project is called, is backed by Asteria, the new AI-based studio founded by Lyonne and Los Angeles-based filmmaker and entrepreneur Bryn Mooser. Lyonne will direct from a script she wrote with Marling; both will star.

AI production studio Asteria revealed its first live-action feature, titled “ Uncanny Valley ,” which will also mark the feature directorial debut of studio co-founder Natasha Lyonne (“Poker Face,” “Russian Doll”) and will be made by combining AI tools with “traditional” filmmaking techniques.
