Kaleb Johnson’s 206 rushing yards and three touchdowns were too much for Minnesota to handle as Iowa reclaimed the Floyd of Rosedale trophy.

Floyd of Rosedale is heading south as Iowa beat Minnesota 31-14 behind 206 yards from Kaleb Johnson. The Hawkeye junior back single-handedly carried the Iowa offense in the second half as they overcame a halftime deficit and dominated Minnesota in the final two quarters.

Johnson topped 100 on his first carry of the second half, a 17-yarder that also drew a late-hit penalty. He finished that drive with a 15-yard TD run, also his fourth straight game with multiple touchdown rushes. He had two in each of Iowa’s first three games.
