One of the Brits on board the doomed Air India flight which crashed shortly after take off on 12 June shared some emotional words with his loved ones just moments before the plane plummeted into a building. Flight AI171 was bound for London, Gatwick when it took off from Ahmedabad.
Raxa Modha, from Wellingborough, her two-year-old grandson, Rudra, and Yasha Kamdar were believed to have been flying back to England for a memorial service for Ms Modha's late husband. Jay Bapodra, who had known Raxa and her family "for decades" said she was "a pillar of the community".
The only survivor of the tragic Air India plane crash recalled his experience of walking off the plane after the accident. Viswash Kumar Ramesh, a British national, was onboard the doomed flight AI171, which took off from Ahmedabad on Thursday 12 June, bound for London Gatwick.
