Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow are in final talks to return for 'Romy and Michele' sequel, directed by Tim Federle.

Robin Schiff, who wrote the original and is known for showrunning the Neflix hit Emily in Paris, returned to pen the sequel. Laurence Marks, the veteran producer who produced the original, is also back in same role. Barry Kemp, the creator of 1980s series Newhart, is also producing.
