Embattled South Korean superstar Kim Soo Hyun has personally addressed a growing scandal about the nature of his relationship with late actress Kim Sae-ron for the first time, in a closely watched saga that has roiled the country’s entertainment industry.

YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, also known as HoverLab Inc., has released additional photos and videos with metadata supporting claims that Kim Soo Hyun dated the late Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor.

South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun announced on Monday that he is suing the family of late actress Kim Sae Ron and YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute for 12 billion won (approximately US$8.2 million) in damages.
