BP's Kaskida oilfield is slated to be its sixth production hub in the Gulf of America shelf. The FPU for the field has a production capacity of 80,000 barrels of crude oil per day.

The Kaskida FPU is designed to support a single topside module on a four-column semi-submersible hull and is anchored by subsea production wells in waters approximately 6,000ft deep.

Audubon will complete topside engineering and design of the Kaskida floating production unit (FPU), leveraging Audubon’s established design philosophies that will allow for faster cycle time.

The topsides for the Kaskida FPU will be put together and raised to the hull using Seatrium’s Goliath twin cranes, which have a total lifting capacity of 30,000 tonnes.
