A 7-year-old girl is in critical condition after a shooting incident in Jones County on Monday afternoon. The shooting occurred at a home in the 600 block of Ira G Odom Road of Johnson Road. The child was transported by EMServ Ambulance Service to South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel and was later airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
