Iowa has already landed the nation's top transfer portal player in former Drake guard Bennett Stirtz. Stirtz followed new Iowa head coach Ben McCollum over from Drake. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game while shooting 49.8% from the field and 39.5% from 3-point range in his lone season at Drake.

The Iowa State Cyclones continue to work fast under head coach T.J. Otzelberger, who has already earned commitments from three players in the college basketball transfer portal this offseason.
