Just about everything that could have gone wrong for the Iowa Hawkeyes against the UCLA Bruins did go wrong in their embarrassing 20-17 loss that continues their abysmal road performances. The Hawkeyes looked unprepared in this game and continued a troubling trend of not performing when away from Kinnick Stadium.

The points came off the board, but the Hawkeyes advanced to the UCLA 24. On a 3rd-and-8 at the 22, Stratton threw a 10-yard pass to Jacob Gill. On a 3rd-and-14 at the Bruins’ 16, Stratton hit Gill for 15 yards. Kamari Moulton ran for a 1-yard TD, and the game was tied at 17 with 11:27 left in the game.
