After Heinrich Klaasen's retirement from international cricket, South Africa all-rounder Keshav Maharaj hailed the wicketkeeper-batter's influence on the modern game, as per the ICC official website.

It is a sad day for me as I announce that I have decided to step away from international cricket,” Klaasen wrote. Klaasen, known for his aggressive batting and calm presence behind the stumps, made his international debut in February 2018 during an ODI against India.
