After a woman was found dead in Forest Park in Springfield on Jan. 7, officials are investigating it as a homicide. Police responded to reports of the 5 p.m. discovery of the body in the area of 300 Trafton Road near Camp Star Angelina, said Ryan Walsh, police spokesman.
