Northern Irish prodigy Anderson will oversee all of the fashion brand's collections, an unprecedented position that has only been held by Christian Dior himself.

"At 40, Jonathan Anderson has exceptional qualities combining creativity and savoir-faire," Dior chair Delphine Arnault told Fortune.

It is the first time since Monsieur Dior that one creative director will work on all the women's, men's, and couture collections.
