In the wake of Canelo Alvarez finalizing a deal to face Jake Paul on May 3 in Las Vegas, attempts to make a fight between Alvarez and Terence Crawford have been suspended, sources told ESPN.

After reports that a long-discussed bout between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Terence Crawford was inching toward being finalized, a new report from The Ring Magazine claims that those negotiations have fallen apart.

Contrary to claims from Eddie Hearn Jake Paul vs Canelo is not a done deal yet, however something else for Terence Crawford is being looked at.
