Nolan and Universal Pictures first announced that the acclaimed director, 54, would adapt Homer's The Odyssey into a film using new IMAX technology back in December. The famous story follows the King of Ithaca, Odysseus, on a 10 years-long journey home after the mythological Trojan War.

For years, writer-director Christopher Nolan has brilliantly utilized IMAX cameras to deliver unique blockbuster experiences like no other and now, the Oppenheimer Oscar-winner is going all in on the large-scale format.

Christopher Nolan always makes supersized blockbusters, but his upcoming “ The Odyssey ” will be his most supersized effort yet. The Odyssey” will be the first movie shot entirely with Imax cameras. Nolan is currently in production on the epic, which stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway and more.
