Police have arrested a woman in connection with a deadly shooting that happened in west Charlotte Tuesday night.

One person was killed in a shooting in Uptown Charlotte on Wednesday. The shooting happened on W 8th Street near North Graham Street. Medic said one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not released any information on this shooting.
