Derrick White is the new three-point king of the Boston Celtics. White set a new Celtics franchise record for the most three-point makes in a single season on Monday night, as he helped Boston beat the Memphis Grizzlies for the team's ninth straight win.

Derrick White broke a single-season Celtics record, but he actually partially credited the Warriors for helping him become the player he is now.

White has been an outstanding complementary player for Boston ever since it acquired him in a midseason trade three years ago. He's a utility-type player who will not only score and hit from the outside but will also handle the basketball, get after it defensively and hustle for loose balls.
