Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Wednesday that the U.S. did not know about and was not involved in a wave of exploding pagers targeting Hezbollah operatives in Lebanon, and urged restraint among all parties to avoid escalating further conflict in the Middle East.

White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby addressed reports of exploding devices in Lebanon. Kirby said the U.S. was not involved in the deadly blasts and did not address reports of Israel's involvement in the explosions.
