In wrestling a reversal is worth two points. But it’s impossible to measure the impact of the reversal that Anthony Knox, Jr. experienced during an unprecedented week that saw him disqualified by the NJSIAA for the rest of the season following his role in a February 22 brawl at the District Championships at Collingswood High School.

Unless a court intervenes, Anthony Knox is headed to the NJ State Wrestling Tournament next week in Atlantic City.

After taking the mat to “polite applause from a capacity crowd” at Lacey Township High School, as the Asbury Park Press described it, Knox won his two bouts Saturday on the second of the two-day regional tournament by scores of 18-3 and 17-1, with neither match lasting beyond the first two-minute period.
